OMG, Where do I start?Overall, the textbook is written in a user-friendly manner that provides just enough information to learn about organizational development.HOWEVER, this book sucked. As a psych major, I was extremely intrigued to began this book and learned the many ways to assist a company in need of change. This book lacks detailed explanation of some of the most basic models of implementing change and growth in an organization. The material is incredibly dull if you are not planning on going into O/D so keep that in mind when trying to proceed through this information. Honestly, the material is not difficult and after being fed up with the way this information was presented in the book I stopped using it and still received an A in the course.

The book itself was great for my class, but the quality of the used book was terrible. It’s pages are so worn and since they were perforated, many were falling out or taped in already from previous renters. Simply turning a page could make the page start to tear at the perforated edge. Some even fell out when I’d open the book. This was my first rental from amazon so I’m hoping I don’t get charged.

This book is a class book. This book was well written and easy to understand, but it was made like a workbook. The pages were serrated so they were starting to rip out. I was constantly repairing this book to prevent the loss of pages.

This edition is very comprehensive in scope and user friendly for a professor-practitioner like me. It provides learning experiences that are realistic and relevant to the changing scenarios in organizations today. I love it. Thank you Mr. Brown for facilitating our role as OD mentors. I had to buy this for one of my college classes. It wasn't terrible, but I mean it's a textbook so not the best reading ever.

Thus book is boring and dry to read. While it's still useful for organization development courses, I would highly recommend the author brighten it up with more color and a better breakdown of content.Not everything discussed in the book needs as much detail or wording; use real cases and target keypoints next time.

This was a great book. Perfect for beginner IO psychologists working in organizational development. Very informative. It's told by one person so the tone is consistent. Recommend!

A very easy read, which I love. And the cases and exercises at the end of each chapter were really helpful- my class actually went over them every week. I feel like this textbook made it easy to study for our midterm and final since all of the key words and ideas were highlighted and the headings were good.
